Dr. Farris completed his undergraduate studies at Seattle Pacific University before earning his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in 2003 and completing a residency in primary care and low vision at the Jerry L. Pettis Memorial Veterans Hospital in Loma Linda, CA. He has also participated in Christian medical mission trips to Honduras, Nicaragua, and El Salvador. With a broad range of expertise, Dr. Farris specializes in dry eye, ocular disease, surgical co-management, pediatrics, and contact lenses.
A member of the American Optometric Association and the Idaho Optometric Physicians, he is committed to advancing eye care practices and staying current with the latest developments in optometry. His professional approach ensures that patients receive high-quality care and effective treatments.
In his free time, Dr. Farris enjoys the great outdoors, spending time with his family, taking part in church activities, and exploring his musical interests. He is fluent in Spanish, which enhances his ability to connect with a diverse patient population.
